Don Quixote Asteroid
07/09/11 at 13:57:39

Universe Today braught an article about the asteroid Don Quixote's weird orbit , having a chance to leave the solar system within several tens of thousnads of years.
Hereunder is an animation of the asteroid's aorbit for the next 30000 years .
The yellow orbit is Saturn , Jupiter in dark red .
To be honest : I'm really surprised how the asteroid is searching for a home in the solar system , exploring nearly every edge of it .
