TS=16k
@ ~24Myr
4 & 5 had a very strong interaction and both were ejected from the system.

1,2,3 remain stable.

How fast are 4 and 5 travelling away from the solar system?  If they're travelling at modest speeds of a few km/s then it probably was a true ejection.  If they're travelling at unrealistically fast speeds, high 10s to hundreds of km/s, they probably would have collided if the time step were lower, but skipped over each other instead.  In either case, you've demonstrated that they were unstable.

If you're going to continue to run this simulation with the remaining 3 planets, you can delete 4 & 5 to make the sim run faster.

I'm still running it at the 16K TS

at about 60 Myr

1 and 2 interact strongly
causing 1 and 2 to switch places

1 then interacts strongly with 3

1)
a=10.320
e=0.246

2)
a=6.054
e=0.222

3)
a=21.753
e=0.129

System appears to have restablized at ~ 65 myr

Thanks for the updates.  It's interesting that the slower time step keeps the system together longer, but with things crossing each other's orbits, its only a matter of time before something bad happens to one of them.
